Cajoling my multi-talented and oldest friend into playing her Hangdrum, this 500 mile remote collaboration was created in January of 2021. I still want more of her multi-instrumental talents, but there you go: even friendship-blackmail has its limitations.

The suite has the Hangdrum as its centre, which I developed musically in an orchestral and middle Eastern directions, something of a departure from my usual Celtic traditional style, but very much in keeping with my electro-acoustic and ambient output. There are of course Celtic ingredients, as I can never get too far without tripping over my roots.
