This is a suite of three pieces created for the shop HickoryDickoryDock in New York state. In that sense, it is an ambient suite - music to augment, to enhance, physical space, without itself being the focus of attention. This ambient treatment is particularly found in the first movement. The second features a tune from the master of seventeenth century Irish harp, Turlough O'Carolan. The third, fast moving piece centres around the spoken word text in German by Kerstin, friend to the owner of HickoryDickoryDock.

The themes of both shop and music are clocks and time, water, with a strong tradition of German and other European craft traditions. The three pieces can be played simultaneously in the three different listening areas of the shop, overlapping like a sonic Venn diagram as guests move between spaces.
